Objection to compensation offered by government ( resumption scheme )

Will the affected owners / occupiers have the right to lodge objection if the compensation offer, if any, made by the Government is unreasonable in respect of a resumption scheme?

Yes. The affected parties may appoint professional consultants to evaluate on their behalf the market value and actual loss incurred due to the land resumption. A formal written compensation claim showing details of the amount claimed could be submitted to the Government for processing before the expiration of one year period from the date of reversion of the scheme.
