Mineral Companies seeking to list on HKEx need to satisfy the requirements set out in chapter 18 of the Main Board Rules. One of the requirements for a new applicant Mineral Company to include in its listing document a report on its resources and reserves prepared by a Competent Person. A Competent Person is required to have a minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience and must be professionally qualified.
