Why Thailand is one of the hottest places to invest in real estate

Thailand is a popular destination for property investment due to its return on investment, stability, and quality of assets.

The country has a prime geographical location, a prudent banking sector, renowned international schools, and a superb healthcare system, all of which attract foreign investment.

The banking sector is supported by a high amount of reserves and conservative loan policies, and foreigners are welcome to open bank accounts and apply for loans.

International schools in Thailand offer American or British curriculum and often teach a third language such as Mandarin or French, which is a factor for foreigners to move to Thailand.

Thailand's healthcare system is ranked 1st in Asia and 5th out of 195 countries globally, accessible to both rich and mass populations, and attracts international patients due to affordability and skillful medical personnel.

In 2022, Thailand attracted over THB77.4 billion from Chinese direct investment and THB50.9 billion from Japan.

The value of property transferred to Chinese buyers alone in 2022 was at THB24 billion, 57% of total property transfer value to foreigners.

Retail buyers often invest in properties in cities with decent rental yield and price appreciation, such as Bangkok and Pattaya.

Foreigners are allowed to own properties as a freehold as long as it doesn't exceed the foreigners' quota of 49% in each condominium property project.

Individual foreigners are not allowed to own land, but many still purchase detached houses that come with rights to own pieces of land.

Major players in real estate development in Thailand include Sansiri, AP, and Noble.

The Dubai Nasdaq listing seminar was successfully completed

On March 8th, the Dubai Nasdaq listing seminar, co-organized by Alliance Capital Partners Limited, BM Intelligence, Michael Li & Co., SHINEWING, GRIP and Innovax, was held both online and offline. Participants came from mainland China, Hong Kong, Thailand, Japan, Dubai etc. We were honoured to have Mr. Roy Lo, Managing Partner of ShineWing, Mr. V. Dubai, being the eighth largest financial centre globally, has seen its IPO funds rise to the fifth spot in 2022. This rise can be attributed to its unique geographical environment that presents various investment opportunities. During the seminar, our speaker discussed the listing conditions for both the growth board market and the main board market of Nasdaq Dubai, providing professional advice on the listing process and associated fees.
